After an initial experience in communication and marketing, Laurent dedicated his career to his passion, recreational boating. For over 25 years, he has climbed all the ranks of the profession, from teaching sailing and training instructors to nautical maintenance with specialties such as working with polyester, fittings, and rigging.

From 2005 to 2020, he managed after-sales support for the largest units sold by the Bénéteau Group, including Lagoon and CNB Yachts. Through his experience, he developed expertise in this type of vessel and acquired new skills with the advent of new embedded home automation technologies, which he had to learn and troubleshoot over time.

In 2021, he joined the American group Multitech Marine to establish and lead its French subsidiary, Multitech Méditerranée. Since October 2023, Laurent has been with IMS Shipyard, where he holds the position of Project Manager.
